,The Ghost Town Of Picher, Cardin and Treece Are Apart of the Tristate Mining Superfund Site.
The Tar Creek was declared a disaster before they moved and bought everyone out!!!!!
Slowly Picher is Vanishing with many Buildings Including churches being burned down. Vandals have came in and used the area as a dumping and a place they can burn their copper they steal etc.
My Mission On Documenting This Place is because of the history here, The Memories The Local Residents Sliding Down The Chat Piles which contained Lead Particles. The Lead is the reason this town is crumbling and why they were declared as a Superfund Site.
